Cross-Listed as BIOL 3419. Students will explore how to manage forested lands using sound ecological and conservation principles in an adaptive management context. The campus environment and field trips will be used to allow students to develop management plans for individual stands as well as the landscape. Multiple uses such as T and E species, water resources, wood fiber, fire/disturbance regimes will be used to formulate different management schemes. Faculty: G.
