BIOL 1100 minimum grade of C or better/or (ENVL 2100 and ENVL 2200); BIOL 2120 helpful. H.S. Algebra II and Trigonometr. Not open to freshmen. (Cross-Listed as BIOL 3414.) This course will consider the structure of plant communities, the physical and biological factors affecting them, and processes of ecological change over time. Field work will evaluate local plant communities as examples and includes quantitative analysis. Offered alternate Fall terms. This course may be offered in sections with a Q2 designation.
