Quantitative reasoning intensive course (Q1). (Same as BIOL 3105.) An introductory quantitative course designed for students with interests in biology and marine science. Basic statistics and numerical techniques commonly employed in the natural sciences are explored. This includes topics such as non-parametric hypothesis testing, analysis of ecological communities and genetic populations, and radio-isotope half-life calculations. Faculty: M.
