Open only to senior SOWK majors. Permission of instructor. Special project request form required. Senior SOWK majors who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in program and cognate courses are eligible to apply for Program Distinction. Interested candidates should meet with their senior seminar instructor. Successful applicants will participate in a final project will include a paper on a theme of interest related to social work practice and a poster presentation which will be judged by a panel of faculty and students.
