Prerequisites: Four 200-level SPA courses An in-depth study of the most challenging grammatical structures of the Spanish language. Following a strictly inductive approach, students will analyze and contrast a substantial number of Spanish sentences and paragraphs in order to figure out the grammatical rules which may explain the different structures used. Students will then provide further examples to illustrate the rules and practice with a wide variety of written exercises. Knowing the right answer will not be enough: students will be required to explain why it is the right answer.
