The great economic diversity within Eurasia in the 1800s, the Globalization process of the late 19th and 20th centuries, the de-globalization of the Interwar period, and the Great Depression frame the study of the economic development of the US in the 20th century, the creation of the European Union and the most recent recurrence of growth in Asia.
