A study of the Modernismo movement in Latin America from its beginning in the 1870's to its conclusion in the 1930's. Different genres, authors, and modalities are emphasized whenever the course is offered. The scope is multinational, and it includes the various generations that constitute the movement. Authors included are del Casals, Darío, Díaz Rodríguez, Gutiérrez Nájera, Herry Reissig, Lugones, Martí, Nervo, Reyes, Santos Chocano, Valencia, and Collado Martell. Taught in Spanish.
