One hour lecture per week. This course is designed as an 18-hour intensive review of punctuation styles and rules used in court documents, letters, legal office documents, contracts, memorandums, and reports. The emphasis will be on basic punctuation rules as they apply to written business, legal, medical, and technical documents. This course meets partial requirements of the Court Reporter's Board for Section II and the Certification Program.
