ESL Reading V prepares ESL students for college-level work. Students hone critical thinking skills that have been learned, but not necessarily mastered, in levels zero through four. Readings include articles, essays, and short stories, with an emphasis on expository writing authored by and for native speakers. Students continue to develop strategies in comprehension, interpretation, understanding content and structure, and thinking beyond the text. Corequisite: ESL 065
