This course explores the role of contemporary criminal justice administration with an empha-sis on leadership and management perspec-tives and skills, as well as organization theory. The course will assist students in more effec-tively assessing their own as well as line and staff management styles. In addition, they will be better prepared to recommend positive change for more effective management of a criminal justice organization and will take a series of self-evaluation management and lea-dership tests to assess their respective styles of management.
