Prerequisite: VARTS 361This class investigates a variety of art making genres and technicalapplications that challenge form and content. Multi-mediaapplications may range from mixed media assemblage and digitalprocesses to alternative modes such as Collaboration, Performance Artor Installation Art. Students as individuals will adopt these ideas andmethods for their own work, continuing the development of formaland technical skills in relation to a personal evolution. Historicaland contemporary precedents will be introduced. Possibilities forcollaboration with other disciplines will be encouraged throughout thecourse.
