Prerequisites: MGMT 200, three upper-level (300-400) Managementcourses, and senior standingIn this course, students select a business to create/and/or start.Collection of data through primary and secondary research sourceswill assist students in the development of a business plan along withan understanding of the sociological, technological, managerialand other environmental trends that will shape the practice ofmanagement in the 21st century. This course involves spending asignificant amount of time in the business environment. Contactwith members of the business community is highly encouraged. The final product of the class will be a professional business plan and itspresentation.
