Computer systems and access to online and real-time data via the Internet has changed the way individual investors interact with the market. This course will examine Over the Counter (OTC) Bulletin Board stocks. We will examine online brokerage companies and learn how to place and execute orders online. Emphasis will be given to identifying and describing variables that contribute to the extreme volatility of small-cap and penny stocks. 3 credits.
