Seniors spend two semesters learning the meaning of serious scholarship in the field of art history. This results in the production of a thesis adhering to scholarly standards for research and writing in the field, along with the production of a brief lecture based on the thesis. The course involves largely independent research and writing following a rigorous schedule and set of production standards. Prerequisite: Senior Art History major. 3-6 credits.
