Reiki is used for healing and as a complement to all healing modalities. Many doctors recommend Reiki to enhance their treatment, hospitals offer it to their patients, and studies support its healing. Dr. Oz, a heart surgeon at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, conducted a study which showed that patients who received Reiki before, during and after surgery healed faster, had a better prognosis and less bleeding.
