This course critically examines areas of per-sonal life, relationships and social conditions that cause alienation, egocentrism, violence and oppression. Themes include the impor-tance of meaningful communication, the re-sponsible exercise of freedom, the social and political dimensions of faith, nonviolent alter-natives to conflict and global perspectives on current issues.
