Applications to systems and phenomena of chemical interest, including ideal and real gases, chemical equilibria, phase transitions, classical liquids, and polymer solutions. Use of Monte-Carlo and molecular dynamics simulations to solve problems of current interest. Prerequisites: 01:160:324, 328, or 342; 01:640:250 and 251 or equivalent.
