This course is an internship at UMDNJNew Jersey Medical School's Institute of Human and Molecular Genetics, which requires the student to rotate through the various laboratories of the institute for hands on experience in cytogenetics, molecular genetics, biochemical genetics and clinical genetics. The student also rotates through UMDNJ's Human Genome Institute, to learn the latest techniques and methodologies in this fi eld.
