Examination of how the law treats violent incidents, with emphasis on spousal and child abuse. Students review the Protection from Abuse laws of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Students also examine juvenile violence and school violence. A major research paper is required for this course. Prerequisites: LEI 101, 102, and 121.
