The student will be able to demonstrate how various types of instruments in the nuclear industry including heat sensing, radiation, and neutron flux detection and gages are used as well as transmitters, pressure and temperature sensors, flow meters, level detectors, radiation monitoring systems, scintillation detectors, Geiger-Mueller counters, ionization chambers, fission chambers, BF3 detectors and neutron detection systems.
