1 semester, 3 credits Traditional and modern Asian cultures will be studied from various perspectives. A team-taught interdisciplinary course that surveys historical development, the arts, religion, economics, and politics of such countries as India,Tibet, China, Korea, Japan, and countries of Southeast Asia. Course helps students gain appreciation for the rich historical and cultural diversity of Asia and of its continuing importance in the world today.
