1 semester, 3 credits Social science research processes, empirically based practice, basic study designs and frequently used statistical procedures are introduced. Students will become beginning practitioners of empirical research by evaluating research reports, analyzing logic and methods of empirical inquiry (including program evaluation and single-subject designs), examining ethical research issues, and designing, executing, and evaluating their own research projects. Prerequisite: SocialWork majors only.
