3 units; 3 hours Lecture, 6 hours Laboratory Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times. Prerequisite: DM 12 or equivalent. Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Covers advanced Photoshop and Illustrator techniques to create images using digital tools to reproduce traditional drawing and painting methods including: use of drawing tablet, digital camera, lighting, color and perspective. Taught on Macintosh. Adaptable to Windows. Portions of the course will be taught in a Distance-Learning Format. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU.
