This course focuses on effective classroom and behavior management strategies with emphasis on students in grades K-8 (mild/moderate disabilities). Individual and group management strategies using a variety of techniques based upon behavioral, cognitive, and humanistic psychological theories are presented. Implications of management strategies in the inclusive classroom are also investigated. Prerequisite: Acceptance into an Education Program. 3 credits.
