Restricted to senior biology majors. The course requires each student to do an in-depth study of a selected topic with an evolutionary theme. The work requires library research and preparation of both a written and an oral presentation of that work, including details of research procedures where applicable. Students are expected to read and discuss each other's presentations. Prerequisites: Seven courses in biology and permission of the department chairperson 2 credits
