An overview and analysis of the justice system using literature, film, drama, and other media. Focus will be on current issues regarding the legal system, such as the existence of gender bias, the court of public opinion, the legal system as a force for social change, and how morality relates to law. This course is writing intensive. There is no exam. Prerequisites: LEI 101, 102, and 104.
