Students will examine the research in support of data forthe classification of mental illness into specific groups. Attentionwill be paid to the underlying causes and treatment of illnessessuch as, but not limited to: schizophrenia, major depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, dissociative disorders, and characterdisorders.
