This course will introduce advanced technical approaches in both darkroom and digital photography and an introduction to critical studies in photography. An overview of the history of the medium will be studied through presentation and research. Both an archival gelatin-silver portfolio and a digital portfolio of a serial nature will be produced. Prerequisite: ART261 or permission of instructor. 3 credits.
