3 credits This course is designed to introduce students to the inclusive classroom. Students will develop the ability to design and manage the instructional environment in an inclusive classroom setting. Through the use of case studies and classroom interactions, students will develop effective communication and collaboration skills for professional interactions. Attitudes and behaviors that influence children with special needs will be addressed. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required. No prerequisites.
