ARTV 2269 with a grade of C or better. Arts course (A). Sculpture II will continue to examine the issues of structure and form covered in 3-D Design and Sculpture I while introducing new sculptural methods and materials. Particular attention will be paid to strategies of repetition and accumulation as a means of creating sculpture. In addition to lectures and readings, students will be expected to expand their shop techniques, procure and think critically about materials, and begin to develop a sense of their own working vocabulary.
