1 semester, 3 credits This course introduces the structure and process of bargaining. Focus is placed on the economic and behavioral theories of bargaining as well as the strategies and tactics utilized in negotiations and the consequences of a breakdown in negotiations. Selected leading issues are examined in depth. Students participate in simulated collective bargaining exercises and grievance arbitration cases. Prerequisite: ECN 101.
