Students will learn to write theoretically about literature and will be asked to apply specific critical methods to literary works. Readings may include Plato, Aristotle, Coleridge, Nietzsche, Freud, Derrida, Foucault, Nussbaum, and Cixous. Prerequisite for students writing a senior thesis
