This course will assist the student in develop-ing knowledge and skills in obtaining and do-cumenting a comprehensive health assess-ment, including the physical, psychological, social, and environmental aspects of health. Students will have the opportunity to assess the adult client utilizing simulated technology including SimMan and in the actual healthcare setting. Cultural differences are explored in relationship to health assessment, promo-tion and disease prevention. Prerequisite: NURS 100, BIO 205, BIO 206
