Narratives -- stories -- are among civilizations earliest and most compelling creative forms. They allow us to feel with others, explore the human condition, and expand our understanding of man's relationship to man and to the larger society and culture to which he/she belongs. This course is based on an interdisciplinary approach to communications, theater, writing, film, etc.; and in many instances, we compare the use of the same thematic materials presented through various artistic "languages" (cinema, novel, short story, play, and screenplay). 0.000 TO 4.000 Credit Hours 0.000 TO 4.000 Lecture hours Levels: Undergraduate Schedule Types: Lecture, Seminar Contemporary Arts College Contemporary Arts Department Course Attributes: CA-School Core-400 Level
