MATH 2215. Permission of Instructor required. This course is designed for students in the Engineering Dual-Degree Program. The first half of the course provides an introduction to computing using the FORTRAN programming language. The second half will include the study of selected topics in computer systems and techniques that are principal tools in science and engineering applications. These topics may include advanced programming techniques, numerical methods, UNIX workstations, network computing environments, symbolic mathematics and scientific visualization. Offered as needed.
