Reading and writing knowledge of French and/or LANG 3230, LANG 3231, LANG 3235 or LANG 3236 or equivalent. Formerly LITT 3714; not open to those with credit for LITT 3714. A study of French literature from the Middle Ages up to, and including, the 18th Century. A critical reading that will teach students how to perceive the structural relationship of poems, prose and plays. The course is taught in French. Faculty: D. KING, K.
