Interdisciplinary study of fables, beast epics, fairy tales, and folk tales. Discussion of reading selections and analysis of illustrations, musical compositions, and films based on those texts. Focus on increasing proficiency in reading skills, learning grammatical structures of narrative works, and learning about French and francophone culture and civilization. Prerequisite: 3 or 4 years of high school French; and permission of the Director of French Studies Disciplinary/Interdisciplinary Concentration
