In this course, students will read and evaluate a variety of poems and poets, review the technical aspects of poetry, and investigate poetic conventions. Central to the course is the sharing of students' own creative efforts, thus providing evaluation and the production of a body of original verse. Publication strategies will be discussed. 3 credits.
