Discussion of the theories of bonding in transition metal complexes and the Main Group elements. Nonaqueous solvents and reaction mechanisms in inorganic chemistry. (3 hr. lec.) Prerequisites: CHEM 3284, CHEM 2491, CHEM 3381, CHEM 3182, or permission of instructor. Corequisite: CHEM 3382 or permission of instructor.
