Description:
Prereq: C OR BETTER IN (VICO 321 OR 390). This course provides students with an overview of the techniques used in photographic portraiture. Portraiture skills are essential to both photojournalists and commercial photographers. This class offers skills in natural and artificial lighting, working effectively with the subject/model, and the development of portraiture concepts. Students will be required to seek out portraiture subjects and produce photographs on location and in the studio. May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
