Prereq: DSI 111 & 112. Continuation from 112 of deaf languages and culture. Includes additional signs, continuing to use ASL, PIDGIN, and SEE, further reverse interpreting of paragraphs, and translating idiom and slang paragraphs. Discusses deaf in mental institutions, prisons, and the court system. Students interpret for University functions and programs. May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
