Prereq: (CHEM 306 OR CONCURRENT) & CHEM MAJOR. Emphasis on microscale synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds. Designed for B.S. chemistry majors. 6 lab. *Credit is not allowed for both sequences of organic chemistry courses--301-302-303-304 and 305-306-307- 308-309. Transfer from the middle of one sequence to the other may be possible, but is permitted only upon approval of the faculty in the courses involved.
