Prereq: B A 345. Continuation of 345. Students complete their business plan to local bank loan officers and/or venture capitalists to be used to raise financial capital. The focus in this course is on developing and understanding how to develop the financial projections for the plan and the accounting systems necessary to manage the start-up phase. Additional topics covered are a discussion of potential sources of financing for an entrepreneurial venture, valuation of a company, undertaking, and initial public offerings. May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
