Prereq: C- OR BETTER IN BIOS 171. Overview of how animal nervous systems generate behavior. The first half of the course introduces brain and neuronal physiology and anatomy, sensory and motor systems, sensory-motor integration, and motivational states. The second half uses exemplar neuroethological case studies to integrate this information. 3 lec. May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
