Description:
Prereq: BIOS 301A OR CONCURRENT & NOT 301 OR 302. Hands-on experience through working with human anatomy at the level of tissues, organs, and body systems. Emphasizes a basic knowledge of anatomical terminology and the structural basis of body functions. Lab and small-group exercises are organized around human prosected/plastinated specimens, regionalsurface anatomy, musculoskeletal modeling and sketching assignments. To gain an appreciation of basic tissue properties and relationships, labs include direct experience with dissection. 4 lab. May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
