Topics (chosen by instructor) may include historical astronomy, the sun, stars and galaxies, interstellar matter, black holes, the "Big Bang" theory, and the evolution of the universe. No prereq, but familiarity with basic algebra and geometry is beneficial. Must enroll in PSC 100. 4 lec. 2N
