Prerequisites: BIOL 01204 This upper level lecture and laboratory course provides an in-depth study of animal tissue. It includes the examination and identification of specific cells, tissues and organs. The students will develop laboratory skills in cytological and histological techniques. The relationship of histology to cell biology, physiology and pathology will be emphasized.
