3 C.H. Previously: LT 101 Code H This is the first of a series of courses designed to develop the ability to speak, hear, read, and write Classical Latin. The course includes an introduction to the history of the Latin language, pronunciation, the first three noun declensions, the demonstrative pronouns hic, ille, and iste, the four verb conjugations in the present, future and imperfect tenses, the irregular verbs sum and possum in addition to word order, agreement of adjectives, apposition, and various sentence structures. This is distance learning course requiring a computer and internet connection.
