Topics to be covered include reconstruction, the West and Native American resistance to European rule, immigration, urbanization and industrialization, populism and progressivism, the emergence of the United States as a world power, Woodrow Wilson, World War I and Versailles, the Twenties, the Great Depression, World War II, and the Cold War.
