3 C.H. Previously: ESL 135 Code H Prerequisite: Completion of ESL* E020 with a grade of "C"or higher, or placement at ESL* E130. An intensive language course for non-native students who want to develop competency in the use of intermediate grammatical structures in practical and academic contexts. The course provides students the opportunity to learn these structures through daily reading and language analysis exercises, speaking and writing practice. Intermediate and Advanced ESL courses carry foreign language credit. Up to 12 ESL credits may be used to fulfill foreign language /humanities or open elective graduation requirements.
